L1006 Electronic balances.
Good general purpose laboratory digital balance. Each balance can be re-calibrated if errors are suspected. Each balance has a “Tare” weight facility to remove the weight of the weighing vessel. Balances have a “counting” function. A single item can be weighed and with this function a large number of identical items can be added and the balance will “count” the quantity.

L1007 Electronic balances.
A sensitive balance for analytical work in the laboratory. As for L1006, this balance has Tare and counting capability. Operating parameters, and power requirements are the same.

L1008 Electronic balances.
This instrument is an analytical balance for the professional laboratory. In addition to all the functions of the above, it has inbuilt screen and below pan weighing, selectable measuring units (gm, oz, & ct) and adjustable feet for levelling.

L1010 Spring balance.
These balances are made from robust plastic with metal face. They are graduated in both grams and newtons for both general weighing and force experiments. The scale is easy to read and zero adjustable.

L1026 Mechanical balance.
Cantilever type, supplied with weight set in case and weight tweezers. This set with its single beam slide weight measures accurately to 0.1gm. It is fitted with arm adjustment screws to ensure zero point accuracy.

L1027 Mechanical balance.
Triple beam balance with 150mm magnetically dampened weighing pan. Agate bearings for high reproducibility/repeatability and easy zero adjustment. The three weighted beams are notched to ensure precise location of slide weights.

L1028 Mechanical balance.
Quad beam balance for more sensitive weighing that the triple beam models with a sensitivity of 0.01gm (10mg) and capacity of 310gm. The balance has agate bearings to improve accuracy and prolong the life of the unit, a built-in specific gravity platform is stored in the base. A knurled knob located at the left end of the beam provides zeroing adjustment.

L1029 Slotted weight sets.
Supplied as ten components (1 x hanger and 9 x weights) each weighing exactly one tenth of the set rating.

L1030 Mass set.
These sets are comprised of nine different weights with hook, supplied in a plastic storage case. Weights can be hung individually or in “daisy-chain” fashion. (there is a hook hanging bar located in the base of every weight). In this manner, weights from 10gm to 2100gm in 10gm increments can be made up and used in many different physics applications including demonstrations of force, friction etc.

L1035 HEXAGONAL MASSES.
These robust masses are very popular and have a wide range of laboratory applications. Available in four sizes.

L1040 Metre rule.
Graduated in millimetres with reverse scales. The brass ends eliminate chaffing and ensure accuracy.

L1060 Micrometer screw gauge.
Range 0-25mm, this instrument has been carefully machined to provide 0.01mm accuracy across the entire range.

L1070 Vernier calliper.
Range 0-25mm, this instrument has been carefully machined to provide 0.01mm accuracy across the entire range.

L2005 Thermometer.
red alcohol filled, range -10+110C in 1degree increments, with non-roll grommet, 305mm long requiring 76mm immersion. The unit is supplied in a plastic storage case.

L2011 Thermometer .
Mercury filled, range 0+50C in 1degree increments 305mm long requiring 76mm immersion. This unit is preferred for lower temperature measurements because of the wide spacing of the graduations.

L2020 Thermometer .
Mercury filled, range -10+110C in 1degree increments 305mm long requiring 76mm immersion.

L2022 Thermometer .
Mercury filled, range -10+360C in 2degree increments 305mm long requiring 76mm immersion. Used for measuring heat of higher temperature liquids.

L2040 Digital thermometer .
With 80mm stainless steel probe supplied with protective cap. Range -50+300C, sensitivity 0.1C

L2100 Thermometer clamp .
Attaches to a retort stand and clamps the thermometer at the correct immersion depth in the heating vessel and can be left unattended.

L3001 Specific gravity hygrometers .
Broad range for general use and for liquids of unknown density. Supplied in three ranges.
